The Place

Take me to that place hidden for You and me, a place where effort is meaningless and I can simply be.

Take me to a place where silence is all I need, take me to that place where contentment replaces greed.

Take me to a place with no clocks on the walls, a place where time never matters at all.

Take me to a place where darkness is consumed by light, take me to a place where bland colors rapidly become bright.

I sense You now, Your presence is clear.  You just gently took my hand and pulled me near.

You are taking me to that place where everything but You disappears.
You are taking me to that place, I can see it through my tears.

Every time you bring me here I feel like I’m at home.  I love this place deeply, because only here I never feel alone.

Right here and now I know that I am yours and you are mine, and there is coming a day when this place is not broken up by this thing called time.

  1. Jason, this is one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read. I have shut my eyes ande meditated to feel God’s presence. The happiest I am is when I feel God in this place written about.
